What are Polarized Lenses, and why do you need them?
MOSCOT polarized sunglasses block harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and are particularly useful for eliminating glare. Glare can interfere with depth perception and color contrast, making outdoor activities such as hiking or snow and water sports more difficult or uncomfortable.
How do polarized lenses reduce harsh glare?
Our Polarized Mineral Glass Sunglass lenses block horizontal light waves, known as reflections, while allowing the vertical waves, or direct light, to pass through. By removing the horizontally reflected light, the polarization effect of our lenses effectively eliminates glare while enhancing color, depth, and clarity.
When should you wear polarized sunglasses?
While polarized sunglasses can be worn at any time, they are especially beneficial when engaging in outdoor activities near reflective surfaces such as water or snow. Also great while driving in bright sunshine!
